Дарк-метал в Китае начинался именно с этого проекта музыканта, позднее ставшего известным как Kasasis (王三溥). В 2003-м он ещё использовал название "Darkness over Depth" в качестве обозначения группы, состоящей из него самого. Уже на втором релизе, вышедшем в 2006-м, ""Darkness over Depth Ⅱ The Dream" однозначно указывает только на альбом, на обложке появляется собственное имя исполнителя. Но в самом начале казалось, что именно "тьма над бездной" станет новым "брендом". Это было канонично беспросветно... и при этом свежо.
